A residential community with less than 6,000 residents living in a 30square mile city received its name from Paul Litchfield, an executive with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Litchfield built guest quarters for visiting Goodyear Tire executives called “Organization House,” which opened to the public over time and became known as The Wigwam Resort; a treasure for Arizona The city hosts a number of festivals throughout the year.
